This past weekend, the Rebels reminded everyone why this team is something special. Four games. Four wins. A Championship title. And a run differential that left no doubt.

Over two days of baseball under the August sun, this group of 11U players came together and put on a performance that coaches dream about and families never forget. The weekend belonged to the Rebels from the very first pitch.

Championship Final

Rebels def. Base Bandits 8-5

The Base Bandits came to play, but the Rebels were ready. In the Championship, our bats stayed hot and our arms stayed sharp, sealing an 8-5 victory and punching the Rebels’ name at the top of the leaderboard. When the final out was recorded, the dugout erupted — and so did every parent, sibling, and grandparent who made the trip out to cheer these kids on.

Top Performers

Every player left everything on the field this weekend, but a few performances stood out in the stat sheet.

Federico

6-for-8 at the plate • 8 Runs Scored — Federico was a nightmare to get out all weekend, reaching base at an incredible clip and crossing home plate more than anyone on the roster.

Julian

6-for-8 at the plate • 5 Runs Scored • 7 RBIs — When the team needed big hits, Julian delivered. 7 RBIs over the weekend is the kind of production that wins tournaments, and Julian came through in every big moment.

Logan

5-for-8 at the plate • 2 Doubles — Smooth, consistent, and powerful when it counted. Logan’s extra-base production kept the offense rolling and kept opposing defenses on their heels.

Jace

3-for-5 • 2 Walks — Jace showed tremendous discipline at the plate, making pitchers work and putting himself on base to keep our lineup churning. That kind of at-bat awareness is a huge asset at any level.

The Pitching Staff

Nine different Rebels took the mound over the course of 16 innings — and that depth tells you everything about the character of this team. Together, they held opposing offenses to just 15 hits and 5 earned runs, while racking up 20 strikeouts. That’s a pitching staff that trusts each other, competes for each other, and gets outs when it matters.

Behind the Dish

The Rebels’ catchers were locked in all weekend, shutting down the opposing running game with poise beyond their years.

Jackson

Threw out 2 of 3 potential base stealers — an elite 67% caught-stealing rate. That kind of arm and release keeps baserunners honest all tournament long.

Bradley

Threw out 2 of 5 base stealers — making opponents pay whenever they tried to run. Each throw down to second is a statement, and Bradley made his.

More Than a Box Score

“Tournaments like this aren’t just about wins and losses — they’re about the bonds these kids are building, the memories the families are making, and the love for the game that grows a little stronger every time they put on that uniform.”

The dugout was electric all weekend. Coaches coaching, parents cheering, siblings chasing each other in the outfield grass between innings — that’s what Rebels baseball is all about. The community that shows up for these kids is as much a part of this team as any player in the lineup.

As we round out the 11U season and look ahead to making the move to 12U in August, the future is extremely bright. This group has heart, talent, and — now — a Championship banner to prove it.
