MARCH 2026 UPDATE
We are excited to announce that CV Rebels Baseball has officially received 501(c)(3) nonprofit status from the IRS.
This new direction allows us to take our mission to the next level: removing every financial barrier so every child in the Central Valley can participate in high-quality baseball, regardless of family income.
What This Means for Our Families and Community
- No registration fees
- No equipment costs
- No tournament or travel fees
- 100% of program expenses are covered through fundraising, sponsorships, and grants
Every dollar donated or sponsored now goes directly into the program — uniforms, equipment, fields, tournaments, community camps, and character development activities. All coaches and board members serve as unpaid volunteers.
Our Commitment Remains the Same We continue to focus on developing young athletes through competitive baseball while building stronger character, discipline, accountability, and life skills. In addition to our 12U competitive team, we offer free public baseball camps open to all local youth and inclusive scrimmages with the Miracle League of Tulare County.
Our long-term goal is unchanged: a full-team experience at Cooperstown Dreams Park in Summer 2027 — an opportunity we want every player on the roster to experience together.
We’re Looking for Partners As a newly recognized 501(c)(3), all donations and sponsorships are now tax-deductible. We are actively seeking businesses, organizations, and individuals who want to invest in Central Valley youth development through sports.
If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor, donating goods for raffles, or supporting our mission in any way, we would love to connect with you.
While all of these boys have played together on other teams, in early November of 2024 , they came together to form a super squad representing Central California 10U Baseball (Class of 2032)!
The boys vibe well and the families all love one another – we realized that these are the most important things.
JT Adams and Ricky Rios have been coaching their boys together for several years, with winning squads in both Ripken and Travel baseball – but they are much more than just winning coaches. These two men truly love the game of baseball and want to foster that love and respect for the game in their players.
David Haun, a co-owner of the Walk-Off Hitting Facility in Visalia, is always looking to push the boys to improve. Rather than prioritizing WINNING, David looks for tough games and loves to play up in tournaments. The real growth comes from competitive games with great teams, not from winning!
These boys represent the best that their age group has to offer and our goal is to help them continue to develop and grow in the game of baseball, and in life. We want to see these boys playing high school ball, should they choose to, and our priority is to prepare them for that day – not to win games today.
In March of 2026, CV Rebels became a legal non-profit corporation and we have BIG plans. With Nate McGuigan and AJ Pitkin on the board, we will be heavily involved in the community through events such as baseball camps led by the coaches and players.
We are doing things differently than any other baseball program I have ever seen. In addition to developing as a baseball team, we have a dedicated focus on personal development, helping these kids grow into young men, and developing deep friendships.
